MFEA's Public Involvement Process:
The Manitoba Floodway Expansion Authority (MFEA) announced April 7, 2004, a series of open houses that will take place over the coming month. These public meetings are part of the ongoing consultation process announced by MFEA last month.
MFEA's public consultation activities are distinct from the Environmental Assessment Open Houses held by TetrES/InterGroup. MFEA's Open Houses will focus upon on a number of key project elements, including: compensation, water levels, recreation & economic opportunities, mitigation, floodway operating rules and summer operation.
The open houses will take place from 5:00pm - 9:00pm at each
of the following dates and locations:
